Katt Williams allegedly pulled a gun on someone Tuesday night at the Comedy Store in West Hollywood, prompting police to respond with guns drawn.
Guns don't stop hecklers ...
Or maybe they do.
Witnesses reportedly told TMZ Williams was in the club, but not on stage, when a heckler confronted Williams, reportedly over his height and race. Williams -- who isn't known to be the most stable fellow (please don't tell him I said that) -- allegedly drew a gun and threatened the heckler with it.
That's usually a really effective way to deal with such situations.
Someone called 911 and six police cars full arrived at the club. Officers with shotguns and bean bag guns were spotted outside, TMZ reported, preparing for a confrontation. But apparently Williams, realizing this sort of thing might not be legal, already took off.
As of Wednesday morning, police were still investigating, according to TMZ.
Williams has a history of wild confrontations. He was escorted off the stage during a 2012 show at the Oracle Arena in Oakland after he started screaming profanities at a heckler, and was arrested in Oakland the same year after allegedly beating a Berkeley man with a bottle on his tour bus.
