Hip-hop star Big Sean will make his debut appearance in Lowell next week as part of the Engage Music Festival at the Tsongas Center.
Big Sean, whose biggest hits include "Mercy," "Dance (A$$)" and "Clique," will come to Lowell on Friday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $42 and $34 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster and at the Tsongas Center box office.
Kanye West discovered Big Sean and signed him to his record label in 2008. He first came to light through a series of mixtapes and appearances on Chris Brown tracks before releasing his debut album, Finally Famous, in 2011. The album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard album chart and produced the singles "My Last," "Marvin & Chardonnay" and "Dance (A$$)," all of which made the top 40 of the Billboard pop singles chart.
Since then, he's collaborated with everyone from Lil' Wayne to Justin Bieber to Nicki Minaj to Common to Wiz Khalifa and French Montana.
