DRACUT -- The Dracut Garden Club and the Dracut Public Library are calling on all floral and book enthusiasts who might be interested in participating in their new project, Books in Bloom.

Participants will design a floral or plant arrangement inspired by a book of their choosing! Entry forms are available at the M.G. Parker Memorial Library at 28 Arlington St. Arrangements must be brought to the library between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12. A reception will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13. Ribbons will be awarded for Best Children's Entry, Best Teen's Entry, Best Adult's Entry, and Librarian's Choice.

The project is being modeled on "Art in Bloom," held annually at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
