DRACUT -- Visual, performance and literary arts will be celebrated from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Harmony Hall, 1660 Lakeview Ave., in Dracut's first fine arts fair, "Art in Harmony."

The fair will feature a visual arts competition, with cash prizes and People's Choice award.

Almost all disciplines will be represented, including performance, spoken word, painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, and woodworking.

Participating artists who will have fine art and unique gift items for sale include Eva Glazebrook, Don Ouellette, Gene Paquin, Pauline Rousseau, Amanda Frankland, Stephen Hall, Gary Destramp, Lisa Anderson-Bisson, Janet Lambert Moore, Norm Caron, Constance McDonough and Lois Bradbury. Bill Bradbury will be there, too, drawing his wonderful caricatures.

The Council on Aging will showcase its members' talents, including several authors reading from the council's "Legacies Series," including Hank Noel, Dominic Contardo, Alma Reeves, Roland Tremblay and Mary Adie.

Rebecca Duda, who teaches at Lakeview Junior High School, will sign copies of her book, Dracut Revisited, a history of the town from 1900-2011. Proceeds from sales of the book will be donated to the Dracut Scholarship Foundation.
