Dracut B Team 7
Zach Lakmany had Dracut's only TD for the day. Ryan Talbot made it into the end zone, grabbing the extra point. Great blocking by Michael Talbot, Angel Garcia and Dylan Languirand on the offense led by QB Timothy Sousa. The Dracut defense held strong with stops by Joshua Desrochers, Tyler Malho, Allyn French, Adrian Kimborowicz and Juan Ortiz. Despite the loss, Dracut fought hard to the end.

The Dracut Middies Pop Warner C Football Team dropped a tough 6-0 decision to a big and powerful Billerica squad. This classic heavyweight bout featured many big hits and scoring opportunities from both teams. Unfortunately the Middies lost the turnover battle and had a few more drops in this exciting, down-to-the-wire game.
The Scouts took the opening kickoff and were moving into scoring position with their strong running game before Lincoln Lessard recovered a fumble after some hard hitting by William Peters, Jarred Lash and Andrew Melanson. Dracut moved the ball downfield several times in the first half behind the solid offensive line play of Anton Mao, Christian Frazier, Jacob Beaulieu and Steve Lamontagne. The excellent blocking by backs Zeke Haradji, Nik Carter, Joey Petka, Ryan Verdi and Trevor Lupien allowed the Middies to run several successful outside sweep plays.
A huge second quarter quarterback sack by Jeremy Gray and Kevin Carney, followed by a 23-yard reception by Nemisis
Billerica scored early in the third quarter as the Middies failed to convert on a fourth-down play that gave the Scouts a short field to work with. Interior linemen David and Dawson Coombs, Josh Hastie, Mike Pilato, Jose Torrando, Trevor Anstiss and Trevor Usher combined to make multiple tackles to slow down the Billerica attack throughout the second half. Robby Sparks came away with a fumble recovery to halt another Billerica drive as the third quarter ended.
The Middies lost possession of the ball again in the fourth quarter as time ticked away. Kevin Carney 's fourth-down fumble recovery gave the Middies a final set of downs to tie things up but Dracut's last-chance efforts came up short as the game ended with Jeremy Grey's pass tipped away from an open Aise Pream.
All the boys played hard in this great game and their outstanding efforts make them winners despite the final score.
Dracut Blue 20
Matt Rossetti scored two touchdowns and two extra points, Sloan Carter ran for a 30-yard touchdown, Jared O'Connell with a reception and a 15 yard gain and Jakob Rivers ran for positive yards all day long, while Javier Faria, James Cusenza, Brandon Hudon and Jamie Jusseaume kept Billerica's defense on their heels all game, Stephan Pinto and Jean Carlos Santiago made key blocks on the offensive line to help Dracut move the ball.
On the defensive side of the ball, Denis Bourassa recovered 2 fumbles, Noah Tierney-Honan had an interception, Carmelo Ortiz, Joseph Santos, Anthony Marquez and Luke Davey all had big games.
D White fought a valiant fight but could not edge out a tough Winchester in their second game of the season. D White came back strong in the second half with Mario Silva (QB) setting up touchdowns for Shawn McGuire (2 TDs) and Ray Laurin (2 TDs). Mario also set up some a great run for Devin Lambert (40 yards). Kyle Proulx had fantastic kicking, with two onside kicks.
An outstanding recovery play was made by Ty Votour in the fourth quarter, along with other big tackles throughout the game. Graeme French had a huge tackle to stop the offense running in another touchdown. Other defensive standouts were Connor Foley, Jared Fahey, Justin Mercier, and Eric Airosus.

Dracuts Mitey Mite Blue had an outstanding game Sunday, outlasting the Billerica Indians in a hard fought contest. A huge defensive effort by Dracut's Kevin Obien, Nik Sawyer, Kia McDonald, Yanniel Gonzalos, Josh Gagnon and Timin Carter stymied the Billerica offense. The play of Anthony Cavilaro, Anthony Rivier, Aiden Saunders, Aiden Bernier, Brian Mwagni, Alex Salois and Zack Hudon penetrated Billerica's offensive line early and often. The offense line had another dominating performance with Lucas Enwright, Conner Lash, Rocco Gerraci, Jacob Pynn, Jason Golden and Victor Melendez opening holes in Billericas defensive line. Jacob Trizinski and Lincoln Beal had exciting touchdown runs of 75 yards, led by the downfield blocking of Riley Nichols, who held Billerica's defensive backfield in check all day.
