HUDSON, N.H. -- A Dracut man was injured after his vehicle slammed into another in a head-on crash Saturday afternoon, according to the Hudson Police Department.
Jason Tevepaugh, 40, was transported to Lowell General Hospital for evaluation of minor injuries following the crash in Hudson, New Hampshire. The driver of the other car, 60-year-old William Griskevich of Nashua, New Hampshire, was transported to Southern New Hampshire Health for "serious, but non-life threatening" injuries, according to police.
The Hudson police and fire departments responded to the crash on Dracut Road at 5:18 p.m.
Police said the Nissan Rogue driven by Griskevich was traveling north and drifted into the southbound lane. Tevepaugh, who was driving southbound in a Kia Sorento, tried to evade the SUV but was struck head-on, according to press release.
Police closed the roadway for an hour and a half following the crash.
Speed and alcohol do not appear to be a factor, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with additional information should contact Officer Matthew Topper.
Police said no additional details were available Sunday morning.
