DRACUT -- The Board of Health will be holding a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) event this spring for residents to safely dispose of their hazardous household products, according to a notice posted on the town website.

The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on March 31 at the Department of Public Works Dillon Center, 833 Hildreth St.

"This is a highly regulated and expensive service for the Town so a user fee is charged to help defray some of the cost," the notice reads.

Donut Dash in Tewksbury

TEWKSBURY -- Strongwater Farm is hosting its second annual 5k Trail Walk/Run Donut Dash on Saturday, March 31. The run will begin at 10 a.m. at the farm, located at 500 Livingston St.

The family friendly event will feature music, activities, and of course, donuts at the finish line.

Strongwater Farm is a therapeutic equestrian center. The money raised will help fund the services Strongwater provides. Registration is open and costs $35 per person.

Register to vote by Wednesday

CHELMSFORD -- Wednesday at 8 p.m. is the deadline for residents to register to vote in the April 3 town election.


The town clerk's office, located at 50 Billerica Road, will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
