LOWELL -- Police released no updated information Wednesday on three car accidents Tuesday that left three pedestrians injured.
Representatives of the Lowell Police Department referred all media inquiries to the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office.
A spokesman for the DA's office said that there was no information available on the crashes.
The first of the three accidents occurred at 7:25 a.m. Tuesday on Rogers Street near Park Street. A 76-year-old man was struck by a car and transported via MedFlight helicopter to a Boston trauma center.
On Wood Street around 3 p.m., a boy was struck by a Mercedes SUV between Middlesex Street and Princeton Boulevard. Police said Tuesday that he had suffered injuries that may be life-threatening, but did not provide an update on his condition Wednesday morning.
A female in her late teens or 20s was also struck by a motorcycle while crossing VFW Highway near Aiken Street around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
