LITTLETON -- Three teenagers saying they are part of a violent, national street gang have been arrested and charged for allegedly breaking into a house in Littleton on Sunday, police said.
Three boys, one age 16 and two age 17, allegedly stole a large amount of cash from a house on Whitcomb Street, which they broke into on Sunday and spent the night in while the owners were away.
The teens also allegedly tried to steal a BMW from the driveway that they had loaded with valuables from the house.
The suspects were caught Monday after a neighbor gave descriptions of them to Littleton police. They were tracked to a house on King Street with the help of the Groton Police Department K-9 unit. One suspect fled the scene but was captured by officers shortly after.
All three suspects are being arraigned in Lowell Juvenile Court on Wednesday.
