MALDEN (AP) -- A Boston man has been arrested for attacking two people with a knife, killing one victim and injuring the other.
Juan Buruca, 39, was arrested Saturday and faces several charges, including murder and armed assault with intent to murder. He could not be reached for comment in custody and it was not immediately clear if he has legal representation ahead of arraignment set for Monday in Malden District Court.
Police said officers responding to a report of a stabbing attack at a home in Malden found two victims.
One victim, 48-yer-old Jorge Alberto Machado Mejia, of Malden, died at a hospital. Police identified the second victim as a 45-year-old man who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Prosecutors said the suspect is related to one of the victims and had an argument with him and other relatives hours before the attack.
