HUDSON, N.H. -- A portion of Webster Street in Hudson, N.H., was closed Friday afternoon and into Saturday morning after a driver collided with a utility pole, police said in a press release.

Dave Gould, 44, of New Durham, N.H., was traveling north on Webster Street around 4 p.m. Friday when he drifted into the oncoming lane of traffic and onto the shoulder of the road, where he hit a tree and a utility pole, according to the release from the Hudson Police Department.

Gould was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, N.H., where he was treated for minor injuries.

Webster Street is closed between Sunland Drive and St. Laurent Drive while utility crews repair the pole.

The road is expected to reopen sometime Saturday morning.
