BURLINGTON -- State police and investigators from the Middlesex District Attorney's Office are hoping to speak to anyone who has information on a dark-colored truck that was pulling a trailer in the area of Interstate 95 and Winn Street in Burlington Saturday night.
A vehicle fitting that description is believed to have been in the area Saturday around 9 p.m., shortly before state police found a 51-year-old Louisiana man dead on the northbound side of the interstate just before Winn Street.
Police found Cliserio Cordova Ferral, 51, of Louisiana, dead on the side of the northbound lanes about 9 p.m. There was evidence Ferral had possibly been struck by a motor vehicle, but no vehicles remained at the scene.
Investigators now want to identify the owner and driver of the dark-colored truck that was pulling a trailer in the area.
"We are looking to speak with the driver of this vehicle as a possible witness in connection with this matter," District Attorney Marian Ryan said in a press release.
Anyone who recognizes that vehicle description or who has information on who was driving the vehicle is asked to call the state police barracks in Danvers at 978-538-6161, or to call the district attorney's office at 781-897-6600.
