TEWKSBURY -- Power has been restored across the town after the Tuesday evening thunder storm brought down trees and caused power outages, according to police.
Deputy Police Chief John Voto said the storm that blew through the town between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday caused many tree limbs to snap. Many people lost power.
"Officers were all over the place, cordoning off streets," Voto said.
There was no reported injury. Voto did not know the extent of property damage caused by the storm.
As of 6 a.m. on Wednesday, about 400 households remained without power. But, the information from National Grid indicated that all but two households had regained power before 7:30 a.m., Voto said.
