HUDSON -- Early Friday morning, Hudson police officers were dispatched to the area of Scottsdale Drive near Sterling Way for a report of burglary in progress.

Upon arrival, police noticed that screens had been removed from the windows of at least one residence. A search was conducted of the area, ultimately resulting in the initiation of a foot pursuit with a male subject, later identified as being Dominic O'Neil, 17, of Hudson.

After a lengthy foot pursuit, O'Neil was apprehended as he was hiding under the deck of a residence located on Souza Boulevard. After a brief struggle, O'NEIL was taken into custody. He was not injured, nor was any of the officers involved in this incident.

The suspect was charged with attempted burglary, three counts of prowling, and one count of resisting arrest. O'Neil's bail was set at $10,000.00 cash only bail; a bail amount in which he was unable to produce.
