LOWELL -- Police were investigating an armed home invasion on West Sixth Street in the city's neighborhood late Thursday evening, according to police-radio broadcasts.

Radio reports indicated two Hispanic males, one armed with a gun and the other with a baton, broke into the home around 11:45 p.m. One was said to have had a white shirt blocking his face.

Reports also said a neighbor had a videotape of the invasion.

Police were not able to give additional information shortly after midnight.
