HUDSON, N.H. -- A man running towards Dunkin' Donuts was hit by a SUV on Friday, suffering minor injuries, according to police.

Police responded to Route 102 at the Hudson Mall for a report of a pedestrian being hit by a car at 3:50 p.m. on Friday. Police determined that a 2006 Kia Sorento, driven by John Kordas, 41, of Litchfield, N.H., hit Luis Roustio, 25, of Hudson.

According to police, Roustio had gotten out of his car and began running towards the Dunkin' Donuts nearby. The right front corner of Kordas' SUV then made contact with Roustio in the roadway. Roustio suffered minor injuries and was transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, where he was treated and released. Kordas was not injured in the accident.

The accident remains under investigation.
