BILLERICA -- Police are investigating a suspicious car fire on Belva Street late Sunday night.
Police received a call about the fire that had fully involved a car between 11:15 and 11:30 p.m.
"We do believe it was a suspicious fire," said Deputy Police Chief Roy Frost. "We do believe an accelerant was used."
Evidence was recovered from the scene and the criminal bureau and Fire Department are investigating.
The car is a total loss, said Frost, though no one was injured and no other property was impacted.
