WESTFORD -- Police are asking the public to help identify a woman who stole a tip jar off a Dunkin' Donuts counter on Monday.

At a Dunkin' Donuts located inside the Gulf station at 179 Littleton Road, the alleged suspect paid for an iced coffee at 5:30 p.m. on Monday and then casually took a large coffee mug filled with about $30, according to Westford Police. She took the mug in front of three employees, police said.

Witnesses saw a bandage in the crook of her arm as if she just gave blood with a needle, according to police. They also believe she had a red hospital bracelet on her right wrist, which may mean she was at the hospital for allergies, police said.

One witness believes she got into a small, white, four-door sedan; the make or model is unknown, police said.
