HUDSON, NH -- Hudson police are investigating a collision between a car and an ambulance responding to an emergency call Monday morning. No one was injured in the collision.

At about 10:25 a.m., police officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Lowell Road near Winnhaven Drive to find a Hudson Fire Department ambulance and a passenger vehicle had collided, according to the Hudson Police Department. The ambulance was on its way to a medical emergency on Winnhaven Drive with emergency lights and siren on when a silver 2008 Mazda 6, driven by Gabriella Mastantuono, 27, of Nashua, N.H., collided with the right side of the ambulance. Both the ambulance and the car were traveling southbound on Lowell Road, and the ambulance was trying to make a right turn onto Winnhaven Drive at the time of the accident, police said.

Mastantuono had her infant son in the vehicle. All those involved in the accident were using passenger/child restraints, police said.

Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. The police department continues to investigate the accident.
