HUDSON, N.H. -- A 16-year-old male Alvirne High School student was placed under arrest and charged with one count of criminal threatening on Thursday for having created a "hit list" targeting five students at the school, Police Chief Jason Lavoie said.
Police were informed about the hit list at 10:49 a.m. Thursday, according to Lavoie.
The boy, whose name is not being released due to his age, was being arraigned this afternoon, Lavoie reported.
"Those five students and their parents were all contacted and made aware of the situation," the chief wrote in a press release. "The school took disciplinary action against the student... More charges may be forthcoming."
The investigation remains ongoing, and no further information will be released at this time, the chief stated.
