HUDSON, N.H. -- A Nashua woman was charged with disobeying a police officer and leaving the scene of an accident Tuesday after police initially pursued her for reports she stole from Walmart.
Officers responding to a call for a theft at the store at around 4:20 p.m. were told Allison DeJesus fled in a red Mazda north on Lowell Road. When they attempted to stop her, she took off, striking another vehicle, police said.
DeJesus, 28, continued driving into Nashua, where officers assisted in placing her into custody. No one was injured in the accident.
She was charged with reckless conduct, theft by unauthorized taking, falsifying physical evidence, disobeying a police officer, and conduct after an accident. Bail was set at $5,000.
