Not only did Zack Snyder unveil the new Batmobile on Tuesday, he also gave fans their first glimpse of Ben Affleck as the new Batman.
Monday, the director of the "Man of Steel" sequel teased on Twitter that it might be time to pull the tarp off the new Batmobile. The black-and-white photo he posted Tuesday actually showed off more of the revamped Batman than the car.
The new bat suit has a simpler, sleeker design than past versions. It also has noticeably smaller ears. That redesigned suit is getting rave reviews from fans, even if the man inside -- Affleck -- hasn't quite won them over.
"All hail the #Batfleck -- also, best on-screen Bat-suit ever. Two Bat-thumbs up," tweeted one fan, Brian Truitt.
As for the Batmobile, it retains the Tumbler wheels from Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy days but it borrows the sleeker length from the comic books.
The "Man of Steel" sequel, which will team up Superman and Batman, is set to open May 6, 2016.
