The Westford Academy softball team scored five times in the bottom of the seventh for an improbable 10-9 walkoff victory over visiting Dracut on Sunday.

In boys lacrosse action, Nashoba Tech posted a 13-6 victory over Bromfield.

Kayla Murphy hit a grand slam to tie the score 9-9. The Grey Ghosts then reloaded the bases and Angela Alibrandi walked to score Alexa Sullivan with the winning run.

Meagan Scannell went 4-for-5 with a double and 2 RBI for Westford (3-4). Murphy had a single and grand slam.

Emily Chateuneuf, Christie Raymond and Sullivan each had 2 hits.

Westford is a member of the Dual County League, while Dracut plays out of the Merrimack Valley Conference.
