TEWKSBURY -- Police arrested two men on Wednesday after witnessing an alleged Percocet drug deal on Andover Street, according to police.
Tewksbury police arrested William Watkins, 30, of 35 Forest Park Road, Dracut, and charged him with distribution of a class B controlled substance (Percocet), possession to distribute a class B controlled substance, and conspiracy to violate the controlled substance law.
Police also arrested Kyle Harvey, 28, of 165 Tyler St., Methuen, and charged him with possession of a class B controlled substance.
Detectives were conducting surveillance when they allegedly saw Watkins and Harvey conduct a drug deal on Andover Street. Both men were then placed into custody.
They were arraigned in Lowell District Court on Thursday but details of those proceedings were not available Friday evening.
