LOWELL -- Police are investigating a reported home invasion that sent a Moody Street resident to a city hospital with non life-threatening injuries Tuesday afternoon.
Detective Lt. Frank Rouine said police were notified of the incident about 3:30 p.m., but that police believe there was a delay between the incident and the first call to police.
Rouine said the incident occurred at a home in the 300 block of Moody Street. A resident of the home, who police have not identified, was taken to a Lowell hospital with non life-threatening injuries, according to Rouine.
Police did not immediately release descriptions of any suspects.

Tipsters can remain anonymous, but can receive up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
