According to various media reports, the Denver Broncos have reached an agreement with New England Patriots free agent cornerback Aqib Talib.
ESPN reported Talib has agreed to a six-year deal with Denver worth $57 million, $26 of which is guaranteed.
The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Talib made a big difference when he was in the Patriots' secondary last season. He earned his first Pro Bowl selection. He had four interceptions and was primarily responsible for covering the opponent's top receiver.
The move certainly didn't make Patriots fans happy. New England fell to Denver in last season's AFC Championship. The Broncos also made a big splash earlier in the day by agreeing to a four-year deal with Pro Bowl safety T.J. Ward.
