BILLERICA -- An unidentified person went through the ice in the Concord River Tuesday afternoon, but the individual was out of the water and safe before Billerica Fire units arrived, according to officials.
The person went through the ice near Morgan Road, which is near the Bedford line. The individual was evaluated by Bedford's EMS at the scene and did not get transported to the hospital.
Billerica Fire will have more information later today.
