LOWELL -- A city man who was found not guilty on Thursday of sexually assaulting a the 6-year-old girl at the South Common pool in Lowell last July was arrested again on Friday and then Sunday on sex-related charges.

Randy Carbonneau, 51, 81 Westford St., apt. 4, of Lowell will be arraigned In Lowell District Court on Monday on a charge of open and gross lewdness from an incident Friday afternoon in Lowell and annoy/accost a person of the opposite sex and disturbing the peace on Sunday.

Details of both incidents are not yet available.

After spending eight months in jail awaiting trial, Judge Laurence Pierce on Thursday found Carbonneau, not-guilty to one count of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 in a jury-waived trial.

In the July incident, police responded to Lowell's South Common pool area where the girl's mother told police she saw Carbonneau walk up behind her daughter and rub the back of the girl's head. The mother allegedly saw Carbonneau with his hand on his private part.

The mother saw that Carbonneau was not wearing swimming clothes. The alleged incident happened outside the pool.

At Carboneau's arraignment, his attorney said his client denied the allegations.
