PELHAM -- Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a vehicle that fled after striking a 50-year-old Lowell man who was riding his bicycle on Mammoth Road on Sunday evening.
Pelham police said in a prepared statement that they were called to Mammoth Road near Bear Hill Road at 6:20 p.m., for a report that a man was struck by a vehicle.
They arrived to find Stacey Jones, 50, of Lowell, suffering from a minor injury to his arm caused by the impact. Jones was taken to Lowell General Hospital and was expected to be released after treatment.
Police said the suspect vehicle is pearl-white, with heated side mirrors that have turn signals on them. The vehicle is possibly a Lincoln, according to police.
