BILLERICA -- Three candidates remain for the top prize at Marshall Middle School, and the public has the opportunity to meet them this week.
The principal finalists for the Billerica middle school are Michael Rossi, Brent Conway and Andrew Hall. Rossi is a middle school principal in Haverhill, Conway is an elementary school principal in Melrose, and Hall is an assistant principal in Millbury.
"We have big shoes to fill replacing Principal Roland Boucher at the Marshall, but we're excited to hire a new principal, and I look forward to the process and what it will bring to the future of the middle school," said Superintendent of Schools Tim Piwowar on Monday.
Rossi will visit Marshall Middle School on Tuesday, Conway on Wednesday, and Hall on Thursday.
The public is invited to meet and spend time with them. In the meetings, attendees will have the opportunity to speak with the candidate and ask questions about his experience and qualifications.
According to the daily schedule, the candidate will arrive at the middle school at 11:30 a.m., followed by a tour, a meet-up with the current principal, and a light lunch with the district leadership team. Then, the candidate will meet with parents/community members at 12:30 p.m., followed by meeting with students and teachers at 1:10 p.m.
The finalist will meet with the superintendent at 2:30 p.m., and the Marshall visit will end with a public interview in the school library at 3 p.m.
Attendees are being told to refrain from asking personal questions of the candidate, unless the question directly pertains to the position.
It's not necessary to sign up to attend these meetings.
