LOWELL -- Senior guard Akeem Williams scored 19 points to lead four UMass Lowell players in double figures on Saturday as the River Hawks rallied to defeat Binghamton, 62-55, at Costello Athletic Center.

UMass Lowell trailed 35-22 at halftime. Williams scored 16 of his 19 points in the second half.

Senior forward Antonio Bivins added 13 points. The River Hawks are 5-3 since Bivins returned from a torn Achilles on Jan. 5 , and they improved to 6-14 overall, 5-4 in America East.

Sophomore guard Mark Corneilius of Westford and junior guard Chad Holley each scored 12 points.

It was UMass Lowell's second victory this season over Binghamton, which fell to 4-18, 1-8.
