FITCHBURG -- The vehicle sought in an Amber Alert issued Friday night in the connection of the abduction of a 6-year-old Wednesday has been found empty in Leominster.

The search for Alize Whipple, described as black, 3 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 45 pounds with dark hair, continues, according to police.

She was last seen at 4 p.m. Wednesday on Normandy Road wearing a pink top, pink petite pants and pink sparkly shoes.

Police believe she was abducted by her non-custodial mother, Leanna Wilson, 50, of 47 Normandy Road. She is white, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 135 pounds and has strawberry blonde hair.

Police have reason to believe Wilson may harm her daughter.

The Leominster Police Department said Saturday morning all questions regarding the case must be directed to the district attorney's office. Calls to the office have not been returned.
