TYNGSBORO -- Three juveniles were arrested Thursday afternoon as snow fell on the small town when a neighbor reported the teenagers looting a home on Kendall Road.
Around 2 p.m., the Tyngsboro Police Department was called to 76 Kendall Road, according to Police Chief Richard Howe. Officers there found three juveniles in the driveway loading up a car with reportedly stolen property.
The vehicle was exiting the driveway when officers arrived, police said. Glass on the front door to the house had been smashed, and numerous stolen items from the home were found inside the car, according to police.
The suspects, two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old, will each be charged with breaking and entering during the day to commit a felony, larceny of property worth more than $250, and malicious destruction of property worth more than $250.
Howe said because of the suspects' ages, their identities will not be released. Howe said a concerned neighbor called the department to report three suspicious people at the home. They were taken into custody around 2:30 p.m.
