Dan Girouard scored 2 goals and had 2 assists as the Dracut High boys hockey beat Minuteman Tech, 6-0, in a semifinal game of the seventh annual Middies ICE ALS Holiday Tournament.

Dracut will play Lowell Catholic, which beat Haverhill, 2-1, in a semifinal contest decided by a shootout, in the championship game Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Janas Rink in Lowell.

Rick Beckwith notched 2 goals and added an assist for the Middies.

Jack Brown scored 2 goals and Reed Bourgeois added 2 assists for Dracut (1-1).

Pat Carney made 17 saves in goal.

Lowell Catholic junior Mike Guay scored the tying goal with four minutes left in the third period and the Crusaders went on to win in a shootout. (The game counts as a tie for MIAA purposes.)

Lowell Catholic (0-1-1) won the shootout 3-2.

Thomas Willegal scored twice in the shootout, including the winning goal, and Will O'Neil also scored for the Crusaders, who will play Dracut in the championship game.

Lowell Catholic junior goalie Matt Restuccia was outstanding while making 32 saves.

Lowell Catholic has played in this tournament every year of its existence, but has yet to win the title.

Senior defenseman Connor Donahue scored 2 goals and senior goalie Griffin Scanlon made 9 saves to register the shutout in the Cardinals' seasoner.

Donahue and Scanlon are both from Groton.
