LOWELL -- Three Lowell men have been arrested for allegedly distributing heroin, following a three-month investigation into street-level drug dealing, according to police.
Armand Dominquez, of 700 Merrimack St., is charged with two counts of distribution of heroin; Angel Mas, of 3 River Place, is charged with distribution of heroin; and Favian Rivera, no address given, is charged with distribution of heroin.
The Lowell Police Special Investigations Unit, along with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), conducted this three-month investigation. Police said that neighborhood and business owners were concerned about illegal activity in the Moody Street area, which led police to start the investigation.
Police are also seeking two Lowell residents on outstanding warrants, as part of this investigation: Felix Miranda on three counts of distribution of heroin, distribution of heroin in a park, distribution of cocaine and distribution of cocaine in a park; and Jose Ramos on distribution of heroin.
