NASHUA -- A 17-year-old was killed late Monday night when he lost control of his vehicle, which spun and hit a guardrail on an on-ramp to Route 3, police said.
The driver and lone occupant, Cameron Ricard of Hollis, N.H., suffered massive trauma and was found dead by the responding officer, police said. The accident took place about 10:20 p.m. on the Exit 1 on-ramp to the Everett Turnpike northbound.
The vehicle, a 2009 Nissan Titan pickup, rolled over at least once after hitting the guardrail, then came to rest upright facing the wrong way on the ramp, police said. Police did not say whether icy conditions could have contributed to the accident but said alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
