DRACUT -- Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, which came to Greater Lowell last summer with the opening of a store at Wamesit Place in Tewksbury, plans to open another location at the Lakeview Shopping Center in Dracut next spring.

The franchise owner is Ken Cunha, according to the New England Real Estate Journal.

Based in Oklahoma City, Okla., Orange Leaf is an expanding self-serve frozen-yogurt concept with locations across the country, including eight in Massachusetts. It's known for its bright orange-and-green decor.

The company said on its website that it also plans stores in Chelmsford's Drum Hill section, Center Street in Burlington and an undisclosed location in Westford.

Joel Kadis, of Linear Retail Properties LLC, the owner of the Lakeview Shopping Center, told the Journal that "with all the dining options available at the (Lakeview Shopping) center, it will be nice to have a dessert option."

Other tenants at the center, at 1743 Lakeview Ave., include Sports Zone Restaurant, Brothers Pizza, China Maxim, Subway, Dracut Family Diner and Thai Parima Restaurant.
