As a member of the Dracut Board of Selectmen, I am always concerned about financial needs and support the need to be conservative with every dollar.
Whenever the town can get additional revenue from the state, it makes our dollars go further and helps projects go forward.
In the two years Sen. Barry Finegold has represented us in the Legislature, we have always been able to depend on him to make certain our town is not forgotten when it comes to local aid and support for our schools.
Every budget cycle, Barry consults with the town about its financial needs and makes sure our voices are heard.
While the Senate was debating the Transportation Bond Bill, which funds road and bridge projects, Barry worked with the town to file amendments to fund projects, such as a traffic signal at the intersection of Nashua Road and Lakeview Avenue. Nobody has or will work harder for Dracut in the Senate than Barry. Barry is involved and well- informed on issues facing our town and is proactive in creating solutions for those problems.
Barry Finegold will continue looking out for our interests in the Senate. That is why he has earned my vote on Nov. 6.
