Beyonce and Jay Z were dodging more rumors about an impending divorce Tuesday, just hours before the San Francisco on for their On the Run tour.
Jay Z's alleged mistress Liv released a song Tuesday that slams Beyonce and claims a connection with Jay Z was emotional, not sexual.
"Sorry Mrs. Carter" has Liv rapping over OutKast's song "Ms. Jackson."
"I was gonna respect you," Liv raps. "But since you crossed over into my lane, it's time to check you, 'Your man? He likes all natural, flawless model chicks like me.
"Me and Jay never screwed ... we connected on some hip hop (expletive), he could be himself with me any day that (expletive) ... We were attracted like magnets, us crossing paths was no accident ... When I stepped out his life, I took a piece of his heart. He close his eyes and see me in the dark."
The convoluted song at one point seems like an apology -- "Sorry Mrs. Carter, this is for real" -- but then dovetails into sharp criticism of Beyonce. "Why don't you tell these girls how to be wives? Why don't you tell these girls how to act around yo' husband?"
The song's release comes on the heels of Jay Z and Beyonce performing two nights on tour in Los Angeles, where Beyonce quite possibly skipped a hotel stay for a visit with actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
E! Online ran an Instagram photo that Beyonce posted of herself standing in front of French doors in a hallway. That accompanied a photo showing the same French doors in Paltrow's home.
But for all the speculation, E! Online never goes as far as saying the singer bunked with Paltrow without Jay Z being in tow, too.
In fact, Beyonce seems to have gone out of her way to dispel rumors of marital tension during the Los Angeles shows. On her website, she posted a black-and-white shot of her and Jay Z making hand gestures and a second shot of her and Jay Z getting close while performing on stage.
In recent weeks, the couple has faced reports that their marriage is over and a separation is expected when their tour ends in September.
